Calgar Electric has been serving the light industrial, commercial and residential sector needs of Victoria, BC since 1983.
With certification for all systems under 750V, we are capable of taking on projects, alterations, or repairs of various sizes, with simple to complex needs.
Our primary focus on service has given us the opportunity and insight to repair and maintain specialized equipment and systems for fields including medical/dental, indoor tanning, veterinary, property management, retail, strata, print making, food processing, restaurant, grocery, vehicle dealerships, electric vehicle charging, industrial fabrication, and more.

OUR SERVICES
We are well equipped to handle cabling, installation, and upgrades of all varieties, including power, lighting, data, fiber optic, and audio/video.
Whether you operate a large commercial building , strata complex, rental property, or single family home, we can provide service on all your electrical and data systems including everything from adding an outlet or troubleshooting & repair, to ongoing maintenance - including operating permits, regular inspections and reports, infrared scanning, and power tracking.

PRICING
Hourly Rate: $130/hr + GST with time charged per half hour after the 1 hour minimum for jobs that require time tracking + materials.
We are also happy to look at your project & quote or budget ahead of time, on a per-job basis. We don’t like suprises, and neither do you, so there are never any hidden fees or charges. All estimates/budgets are free and no-obligation.
After Hours (Evening/Weekend): In the unfortunate event of an emergency outside our normal business hours, we can come help at our off-hours charge of $260/hr + GST
